Since vision is related to the brain, optical illusions and perception are an essential experience in the work of these artists. For this piece, the starting point is space, an expanse of light that dazzles or approaches dusk.
The intention is to offer both the dancers and the audience a series of explorations between sleeping and waking, harmony and disharmony, life and dream, togetherness and estrangement, near and far.
It is a journey that seeks to bring the cosmos into the audience’s mental space.
The aim is to evoke a primordial, primal dimension, detached from traditional cognitive processes, yet not alien to any of us.
